Aloha, I’m Karma, founder of Resort Weddings Hawaiʻi, professional perfectionist, and your soon-to-be favorite person to talk hotels and wedding plans with.

I started in the Hawaiʻi wedding world in 2007 as a photographer with Karma Hill Photography, camera in hand and sand in my shoes. But my Virgo brain quickly realized it didn’t just want to capture beautiful weddings — it wanted to create them. So, in 2009, I launched Simple Maui Wedding, followed a few years later by Simple Oahu Wedding and Simple Hawaiʻi Wedding. With the help of my incredible team, we’ve planned over 3,000 weddings across the islands, and we’re still hopelessly in love with every “I do.”

Over the years, my love for travel turned into something a bit more official. I became IATA certified, which basically means I’m recognized by the global travel industry as a professional who can book hotels and secure exclusive rates and perks for my clients. (Translation: I have the kind of insider access that makes your stay extra special.)

After touring, staying, and yes, Mai Tai testing my way through nearly every major resort in Hawaiʻi, I decided it was time to put that knowledge to work. That’s how Resort Weddings Hawaiʻi was born, to help couples and planners find the perfect resort for their wedding, with all the ease, elegance, and aloha they deserve.
